I started going to Moscow, Idaho from college WSU....because drinking age was 19. Federal government said no more highway funds unless states raised their drinking age to 21. Anyway, I now live in E. Washington and farm (kind of a retirement hobby). I am about 50 miles from Idaho border (as the horse flies) but about 120 by highway. I have driven to most places in Idaho, and have found that if a person wants remote.....living or camping.....it is probably the best state for remote. Sometimes I think my

My husband and I live on the east coast. We aren’t that happy here anymore as we live on the out skirts of a big city. Looking for a state where cost of living isn’t higher than where we live. Also, raising our daughters in a great area where they can enjoy God’s creation. I’m 33 and my husband is 41. We are tired of the “Keeping up with the Jones’” mindset around us. Anyway, looking to either go South (Kentucky) or Western, but NOT California. We love hunting and fishing. Keeping this state on our list. I’m watching “Idaho the Movie” on Amazon right now. It’s beautiful out there.
