Nice place to get a start or retire

Pretty nice place to live. There's not a lot of income here, or jobs, so commuting to Blacksburg to make some money might be your best option. Lots of beautiful city parks, and crime isn't very high either.
The city runs together with Radford University, but it seems like in terms of housing, people tend to distinguish themselves in social groups. Students all live within so many blocks of the university. All of the high income families live around the same area. The rest fill in where they can.
Businesses are coming toward Radford, but for the most part they are choosing Christiansburg or Blacksburg as a middle ground for the NRV instead of Radford. So long drives should be expected when going places such as the mall.
Overall it is a small town/city. Nice place to get a start or retire.
