Review of Casper, Wyoming

Great place to live, work, and raise a family!
Star Rating - 5/15/2020
I've lived in Casper for over forty years. I grew up here and attended elementary, junior high and high school and then left to attend college in large city and lived over seas for one year. My husband and I met at the University of Wyoming in graduate school and moved back to Casper after graduation. This is an amazing city to raise a family! The educational system is excellent and well funded, and the town is safe and free from gangs and violence. There is a strong sense of community in this city of 59,000 that was voted the most generous town in America, and it blends the feel of a city and small town. I am a business owner and resident in our vibrant downtown that is beloved by our citizens and has become THE place to shop, dine, eat and live. We love our symphony, art walks, museums, live music, community events, micro breweries, local businesses and restaurants. And, in addition to all of this, we have an amazing outdoors within minutes of any area of Casper. From a great river trails system for biking, walking and getting the dog out to our local ski resort or two beautiful lakes, Casper has something for the skier, mountain biker, hiker, climber, kayaker, runner, camper, boater, hunter, fisherman and more. It really is a truly amazing place to live, and I count myself blessed to be able to call this place my home.
