McMinnville is surrounded by beauty of nature. From the attractive court square, one can see the Ben Lomond Mountain range disappear into the horizon. In the Spring the dogwoods bloom in mass in the valley below downtown. The people are friendly and, by and large, helpful. If you are in need, they will have a fund-raiser to help lift you from your distress. Commercial activity is good and heavy industry is 10 miles west in an industrial park. The city has many fast food restaurants and several better ones. Our airport is expanding and four-lane highways lead into town from 3 directions. A community college branch is here. Major Universities are within an hour’s drive. Recreation like boating, kayaking, hiking, caving, and organized youth activities are popular sports here. In short, McMinnville, TN, is a good place to live, to retire, or to visit.
