Almost took a job here. Visited and stayed in dead overpriced hotel Candlewood and their pool did not even work. Oil boom dying and this place didn’t know how to quote price to stay for month even though set up for that. Finally, I did get a monthly rate of 98/bucks a night. For what.....the ambience. Oh he!! No. Sad, depressing dirty town with one grocery store. Cheapest apartment starts at $750 and is 70s style. Lady wants to know your business. Next apartments, bigger....but 80s style...is 1200....upon which I drive up to manager comforting some lady with a domestic problem....manager said, “but there’s no drama here....and hurry up w app and fees, her places r renting like hot cakes” Still high prices and oil boom dying. When that’s gone it will be an even sadder, over-priced ghost town. I dodged that bullet!
