Life in Benicia

Formerly an out of the way set of signs on the freeways noticed on the way out of town, with a reputation for refineries, Benicia has transformed over the years into a comfortable suburban community. There is a feel of community and a wealth of main street events. Good for raising kids, though to be honest, it appears (without any formal study of the statistics) that crime is becoming more routine than it used to be.
