Review of North Aurora, Illinois

Though it is a small community (about 16,000), North Aurora is spread over a relatively large area. Getting around within neighborhoods on foot or bicycle is safe, though the town overall is not well suited to foot and bike transportation, almost necessitating access to a car.
That being said, North Aurora does have easy access to the Fox River Bike Path, allowing direct walking and cycling access to Aurora and towns to the north along the river. It's just too bad North Aurora's own waterfront development is lacking compared to its neighbors...
