Boise is correct not "Boise City"

As a native I notice Sperling references to "Boise City", supposedly Idaho 's capitol.
This is incorrect. Boise is the name for Idaho's capitol--just Boise.
Thank you for not perpetuating false naming references on Sperling.
Please note there is an Idaho City, Silver City etc but no "Boise City" in Idaho.

I now live in Boston (not Boston City).
Enjoy your visit to Boise (Idaho's capitol, nicknamed the "City of Trees" on the Snake River in Treasure Valley, Idaho.)

Speaking of correctness, Boise is commonly referred to in official documents and known as Boise City, even in local signage. Take Veteran's Memorial from Chinden up Curtis towards Fairview and the transition from Garden City is marked as 'Boise City' (check out Google Maps street-view!). Additionally, Boise is ON the Boise River. The Snake River at its closest, is 25 miles away. But yes, enjoy your visit!
