Still a small town atmosphere in a fast growing city. Great weather if you like it warm. People are friendly. Seems to be a great job market right now.

Like it warm? The 10 day forecast shows a high of 71 as the highest temperature, and yes, we're in July. I've have gone here to escape record heat in Seattle, and absolutely love the cooler temperatures. I don't like to feel like I'm boiling in my own sweat, or cooking in an oven.

Yes its a very nice town and very clean and green. People are very friendly too and I agree with that. But the weather is not great in the winter because its chilly and very wet everyday but late spring, early fall and summer is very nice. Its rains so much more than Portland and Eugene and its never very warm in Astoria its cool during summer time and chilly during winter but its more mild than Portland and Eugene. Job market is not doing so good there right now but maybe recently that has change. I love that town but I would not live there because I would be scare that I won't find a good job there but if I was very rich I would move there because I like the water. Eugene and cities near Portland is a better place to live to find a job. Astoria is not a fast growing city and its been the same for the last 20 years.
