great place to live

Lansing is a great city. There are wonderful parks of all types and there are a lo of them. The river trail is really superb! There is a large variety of neighborhoods in every price range. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, so I hardly ever have to use my car. people are polite and friendly, and rents and real estate are real bargains.

After having lived here for over 6 years, I can confirm Lansing is a horrible place to live. I'm moving away from it soon so I can't recommend it to anyone unless you're into the LGBT scene. Muskegon was much better from my experience and had a friendlier community with single women who actually talked to guys. Most people around here on the west side are rude and stuck up from what I've seen. There is nothing good I can think of about Lansing honestly.
