Review of Cary, North Carolina

Great Place to Raise a family
Star Rating - 2/15/2008
My wife Lisa and I have a team with RE/MAX UNITED and we love Cary, NC!. After 10 moves during our first 24 years of marriage(Blacksburg, VA; Lynchburg, VA (2 X's); Richmond, VA; Columbia, MD; Cary, NC; Gulf Breeze, FL; Alpharetta, GA; San Diego, CA, back to Richmond, VA) and after our 2nd of 4 children graduated high school, Lisa and I moved to our favorite town of all our previous relocations - CARY, NORTH CAROLINA!

We've always loved Cary and the Triangle Area because of the friendly people, great schools, great climate, and proximity to the beach, mountains, our families, and ACC universities. What a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family!

If you live in Cary do you know which school your child will attend? Or is it like Raliegh where your child can be forced to attend school across town?

Paul - Sorry you feel that way... but as the first 2 sentences of my post state, we've lived in quite a few places - on both coasts - and Cary was our favorite place to live. We could have picked anywhere in the U.S. as our final "home town"...We CHOSE Cary. We CHOSE to be REALTORs after we returned to Cary because we think the Triangle area is a great place to live, a great place to raise a family, and we like helping people buy homes here for the same reasons. When we were transferred away from here (company relocation) in early 1992, there were only about 25,000 people in Cary - now, there's over 125,000, indicating that a whole lot of other people love Cary also. If Cary isn't your cup of tea, then I encourage you to find a town/city that best suits you, move there, and pursue your dreams. Life's too short to be unhappy.

I have read numerous comments on Cary, and yours is the only one I am responding to. No way that your comment has any value, since you are realtors whose only interest is in selling more homes in the area. You have no choice but to be a cheerleader. Sperlings has value to people b/c it posts OBJECTIVE views, not disguised commercial views.
