Review of Farmington, New Mexico

Outdoor recreation on the cheap
Star Rating - 3/11/2018
World class fly fishing (San Juan shuffle!), nearby colorado skiing, and perhaps one of the best climates in the continental US (average western summer with mild winter, sun almost every day). I've never seen bumper to bumper traffic except when there is an accident, the air quality is actually among the best in the country on most days (see AQI rankings), and it has dramatically more cultural diversity than the midwest, with some AMAZING food. Cost of living is low, crime is high, outdoors rec opportunities abound. Have to drive to durango to catch commercial flights (1hr).
