Review of Newcastle, California

Great Place
Star Rating - 11/11/2017
We settled in Newcastle countryside 16 years ago, and it's been a really beautiful place to live. My only complaint is that it is often hot in the summer from July to September, and it's wet and cold in the winter from December to February. There are sunny days in the winter though that everyone runs outside to enjoy! Spring and fall are really lovely with cool breezes and sunny days. The town is small and quaint, the area is generally safe and friendly, and the overall climate is much nicer than most places I've lived. By the way, we've had a light dusting of snow one time in 16 years, and it was gone in a couple hours! We've never had the 3 inches per year stated.
