While the weather is hot, the people are on the chillier side. I just don't get a friendly vibe from the people and they have a socially introverted demeanor. I found it challenging to strike up a conversation with people. The housing costs are very expensive, but the jobs do not pay California wages. Most places close before midnight so take heed if you're young and single. On a positive note, the school systems are good and it is a safe place to raise a family.
