Review of Crown Poi,

Typical midwest climate
Star Rating - 6/16/2013
Like all of northwest Indiana, the weather in Crown Point is affected by Lake Michigan. When July and August temps reach into the upper 90s a few miles south of here, the lake moderates temps in Crown Point to a slightly more comfortable lower 90s. But, as soon as a north wind blows, we benefit immediately as temps drop 10 degrees or more. The reverse is true in the winter, however, when icy lake winds freeze Crown Point and make a trip to Indianapolis almost as enjoyable as one to Florida.

Speaking as a life-long resident on Northwest Indiana, the only complaint I could make about the climate in Crown Point is that it is, like all of the Midwest, too cold in the winter and too humid in the summer for my personal comfort.
