Born and raised here in central Ill. If you work in Healthcare this is your place to live. Hiring at all 3 large healthcare facilities in town. Cheap housing compared to other cities. The winters and gray, long and cold. Not a lot of recreation in the area. Presently looking to move out of state in the next few years due to the new income tax hike.
