Outsiders do more to ruin this state than anything. Watching my whole life how outsiders have driven up the cost of living, brought their unwanted baggage etc. I have one suggestion for out of staters. Stay home, you really aren't wanted here.

It is normal for Pueblo. Move to the ghetto and win a prize. Dead neighbors, drug addicts, beggars. What did you expect? Average income is less than the minimum wage. Oh, and since this is the US, median income is even lower.

You said it yourself, you ignored the negative comments you had read when you were researching so I have no sympathy for you. Colorado is a Hispanic name, was owned by Hispanics and has Hispanic heritage, did you research that before moving to a predominantly Hispanic side of Colorado? And that lady that was found in the suitcase had a name and a family. She wasnt a drug dealer and was killed by her own son because she cut him off financially. You sound extremely racist in your comment and you saying your not isnt helping. For you to imply that any part of Colorado is filled with the N word shows how truly ignorant you are. You wonder why no one talks to you or has hospitality towards you? You're miserable! No one wants to talk to someone miserable. Misery needs company and I agree with the city, you should move. You should be ashamed of yourself. Bless your heart. Go back to the south.

Too bad this site doesn't support photo/video uploads. If your thinking about moving here and you want to see examples of what I'm saying just contact me on here and I can supply you with plenty of evidence about what I'm saying. There was just another homicide here a few days ago. For a town this size the crime is off the hook.

Thank you for the extensive review. I am scouting the country for places cheap enough for me to retire and still own my own home. Daunting. From weeks of research, I am seeing that any place cheap enough is usually a depressed area economically with high crime. I have not found an exception yet. I may still settle in Pueblo, and it sounds in keeping with the other cities I've reviewed. Can you recommend any parts of town as better than any others if you are looking in the <$100K vicinity? Or are meth houses a standard neighborhood fixture? I'd like to be near the zoo or any existing art district.

Your head is shoved so far up your ass that you actually blame Pueblo for "making" you racist! I can only hope that you do not "ride it out" and go far, far away as soon as possible. Wow. You do not deserve to experience the good in Pueblo. You probably spend so much time complaining about the "Hispanics" that you don't even know about our rich history, or the growing arts scene. This community suffers from the symptoms of poverty, it does not cause them. But you're so ignorant I am sure you don't know the first thing about sociology. Shame on you. Leave.
