Review of Washington, Maine

The Way Life Is
Star Rating - 2/27/2010
I lived about 4 miles from Washington village, on Route 105 (West Washington Road) for a little over a year back in 2006-2007. I also taught at the elementary school there, Prescott Memorial. It is a very quiet town spread along to intersecting roads. There is a nice library, town hall, and beautiful pond (it looks like a lake to me). There is also a art gallery with classes. This small town of 1500 also has Country Cupboard (on 17) and another place to eat with the word strawberry in it...can't remember the name.
It's a great place to live. No nightlife, but that is what makes it so peaceful
