The cost of living here is not high. Property taxes are unbelievably low. Just about everything you would need is available right here in Buffalo Center. We have a grocery store with deli, a Casey's plush another location to buy gasoline or diesel, two appliance stores, a hardware store, a furniture store, a clinic, a chiropractor, two dentists, a massage therapist, a lawyer, an accountant, a bank, two insurance agencies, a realtor, a blacksmith, three restaurants, a bakery, a quilting business, two bars (one with a restaurant, a veterinary clinic, a car repair shop, a body shop, a flower shop, a John Deere dealer, a tire store, a farm equipment repair shop, two auctioneers, a senior citizens center, a historical society, five guest houses, a newspaper office, a shoe sales and repair shop that also repairs saddles, two beauty shops, a lumberyard, a farm services center, two computer repair shops, two seed dealers, a grain elevator, a feed mill, an automated carwash, a storage facility, library, fire department, five apartment buildings, a nursing home, a K-12 school, a daycare center, several houses for sale and a lot of very, very nice people! You should live here!
