his Fresno Federal Credit Union masks it's diversity by utilizing the fact that they have a large Hispanic population working within their teams and in leadership. However, if you were to take the lid off of their company and really look at their ratio of qualified American black people of color "actually being allowed and welcomed to work within their organization", ....you would only see one or two..possibly three within different departments. Remember that we, as qualified workers with college degrees and years of customer service experience and success here in California, are many. The idea that this credit union simply cannot find qualified American black employees here in Fresno is false. We are knocking on their doors for employment but are being pushed right back out. For example, this might be noticed within their ranks right at their Shaw Lane Administrative offices or banking branches where you will only see one or two or maybe three people of American black descent working within this company. And those few staffers might be appreciative of being within this demographic. So appreciative, that they might not speak out about observing the quick hiring and firing to get quotas in for State statistical purposes etc..You see, these same few employees of American black descent will still remain quiet as they observe the ushering out of those other American blacks through false write ups, harassment, and blatant illegal discriminatory practices. Let's face it, we all need to keep our jobs. So, the quietness of other American blacks on issues like these come from their need to obtain their monthly paychecks. This companies' Member Services Department devalues their part-time employees by giving them little or no benefits. They also provide part-timers with scattered hours which affects their ability to maintain a healthy home balance or even schedule medical appointments throughout the week.This particular Department reels new employees in by claiming they only require a few weekends per month. In actuality, they lie as many part timers find themselves being scheduled to work every Saturday within a month without fail. This Department also has three supervisors that bully American black employees and create an immature high school atmosphere through gossip and insulting jokes they share blatantly among staff. One Hispanic supervisor created a discriminatory separate but equal employment environment by conversing with a few of her other Hispanic employees in Spanish in front of her other non-Spanish speaking employees which is inappropriate and rude. And their training system is nonchalant and ineffective. It takes a good 6 months to get these systems down. Yet, they provide A to C training and then write up their new employees within a few weeks for not figuring out the B portion of training on their own. They have about 6 or 7 different data bases that they expect new hires to utilize on a daily basis. Yet, their training on these systems is learned via quick observations gained by shadowing senior employees who all train differently. Unfortunately, some train ineffectively. The different styles in training are not monitored and cannot be compared to the successful outcomes gained through in class uniform learning of each system and how it pertains to meeting their members account needs.How is osmosis learning effective when it comes to managing other people's money? It isn't. Therefore, when it comes to this company remember this; "If they don't treat their staff well, they won't manage your money well either". Don't be taken in by their facade.
