Prairie Village is predominately an older community built in the late 50's early 60's. However, over the past few years several modifications, renovations, and "upgrades" have been made on several of the properties. As a part of the greater Kansas City area, Prairie Village is well situated in the greater metro area and boasts easy access to many of the cities shopping malls, entertainment venues, restaurants, as well as the infamous Kansas City Plaza (quaint boutiques, shops, and restaurants inspired by Italian architecture). Prairie Village is slightly undervalued in real estate compared to the general economy.
