Review of Phoen,

The One Positive Review I Know.
Star Rating - 10/26/2018
I want to start off saying that I think James from Tempe did a very thorough analytical look at what life is like in Phoenix---or Tempe, as that's where he's a current resident.

From what I've experienced of Phoenix my first year being here is I have found support programs to be very helpful for getting on my feet, though still limited by funds to a degree.
2) The suburbs like Glendale, even Goodyear, possibly Peoria, or most of North Phoenix, are overall quiet for the most part, laidback, and personally I wouldn't have it any other way for starting out a new life.
3) Crime is a serious thing in all of Phoenix, less bad in the suburbs, again, and I'm not going to embellish it but if you read bing news and type in Phoenix AZ, you'll see crime is not insanely sky-high as some commenters would like you to believe.
4) I believe there is potential to be had and anyone can find their potential here (not talking about getting a Walmart job), but I've met people on my commutes on public transportation who oddly didn't mind and didn't hate their construction job, or whatever service job they were doing.
5) If you're somewhat in debt, even homeless like I was, and SOL as it were, it's much easier with the right programs to come up little by little than it would be in Los Angeles, Chicago, or New york City, etc.
6) Before you go all out and bash the city into oblivion, make sure you're aware that other larger and denser cities suffer from crime and so forth. I encourage expanding your thought horizon and see that Houston, San Antonio, and the like all get their fair share of hate.
7) If you're an adult, as I am, and you detest everything about this place, there's nothing but an apparent lack of funds to leave keeping you from leaving. So need I say more?
8) Take it as you will, there are a variety of people here: the crazies, the bums, the rednecks, the lowlifes, whoever it may be. Be the best you can be and Phoenix can work out for you.
9) Areas in the job market such as teaching have suffered over the years and not gotten the best funding they could, but that's why there's elections. So if you want change, I encourage doing your part....

I was writing this as a change of formula because I'm trying new strategies to think positively and be grateful every day while I'm living here in the 'burbs, and it helps. Meditation, church, religion, find something that will in some way enhance your life instead of making you more butthurt. I'm not putting my review in this format and with a 4 star for like/dislike ratio sake but because if you are one of those who feels "trapped" here, there is hope for you and you need not swelter in your discontentment any longer. Be an adult, work towards your future (nothing comes free), and if your job/career is not in high demand here don't be afraid to settle for less until you raise the funds you need to go elsewhere and just find contentment for Christ sake.

Ending: I do not expect anyone to know this about me but I was diagnosed with a disability of schizoaffective 2 years ago, I deal with it, take the meds for it, still live in Arizona, and while I know there's problems, crimes, drug deals, and all this nasty stuff out there I'm not going to waste my breath bitching about it but doing something about it by contributing to humanity and doing my part in finding my purpose as we all must do.

Thank you for reading and while I didn't intend for this review to be all-encompassing of the factors of living in Phoenix, I can say that whether you choose to live in Tucson, south of Tucson, or southeastern Arizona, whether is marginally the same heat although showers are more likely to occur in the southeastern portion of the state from what I've seen.

Your writing style is in fact suggestive of a serious mental disorder, Paranoid Schizophrenia to be specific. Venting this gibberish on-line will only result in 50% of the readers of this absurd post to join you, if only temporarily, in mental anguish.

One last thing, if you are moderate as I am, or concervative or Replublican, living in Arizona, I hope you'll vote in the mid terms for Martha McSally. Kyrsten Sinema is wrong for the people and wrong for Arizona. Meanwhile, McSally has Trump's full endorsement and served the country honorably. Thank you and have a great day. God bless!
