This town lies at the foot of the Sierra Nevada range. Only 20 minutes from Tahoe, one would think that it would be a perfect environment to live. Don't believe it. "Sheriff Johnny" and his band of nitwits are usually unavailable during an emergency unless it involves something they can steal. Judge David Devore of the Alpine County Superior Court is a total degenerate with the moral IQ of a sewer rat. Steer clear of this place if you value your freedom or your belongings.
