Let's Return Accountability To Grafton's governmen
Star Rating - 4/5/2010
Hello everyone! My name is James Walsh. I am currently seeking a seat on the board of selectmen here in Grafton, MA. I, like many in town, am tired of the taxes and fees continuously rising, while the economy is still "in the gutter." We can't afford to keep this spending up, as though we had an endless source of funds. Our town's funds come from the tax payers...one way, or the other.
We need to bring back accountability to our town's government (the projects undertaken)and finances (put a stop to the "big spending").
There are 3 candidates this year, for 2 seats. There's one candidate who's already on the board (seeking re-election), one candidate who's the Vice Chairman of the "Finance Committee," and then there's me...two of us are truly fiscal conservatives (one of the two being myself), and one who's vowed to do all that he can to put a stop to the rising taxes and fees...myself.
Election Day is MAY 3RD, 2010...I hope I can count on your vote, so that I can represent you on the Board of Selectmen, and send a message to those who have been raising our taxes and service fees every year: "Enough is enough!"

Sincerely:

James Walsh
Candidate for Selectman (Grafton, MA)
