Bit of a disappointment

I bought my house up here in 2005 (for a steal, considering the market values at the time), didn't move into the house until March 2010. People are friendly. I've been actively job searching (looking for PT, FT, temp, anything I can find so I can start fixing up my house). I think I've applied to about 40 different places (in Blountstown & the neighboring town, Marianna). To Walmart, even McDonalds, and I have not gotten a single phone call!!! Getting discouraged. Almost think I made a mistake, but it's a little too late to be wallowing in that mud hole now...
