Came back to Fernandina after a long hiatus. Fernandina has always been a magical place, but many things are getting better. The restaurant scene has improved tremendously--Jack and Diane's on Centre street is an absolute must-visit. More shopping just off-island, while strict restrictions keep the island itself unspoiled. Relatively low cost for homes within a short walk to the beach, and way more amenities than similar sized towns. F.B. isn't perfect, but it's got to be the best-kept secret in Florida.
