America in Bloom Winner

Echo, Oregon is noted for its historic sites & buildings, golf course and trees. On Oct. 3, 2009, the city's beautification & livability efforts won it the America in Bloom Award for cities 4000 & under. Echo was one of the three finalists in all population categories for the AIB Heritage Award. In 2007 Echo was the only US finalist in the International Awards for Liveable Cities (LivCom)in the under 20,000 population category and received a Bronze in the finals.
