How come you don't move if it's so bad? Also, the Khan family are Americans. So right off the bat on reading this I can tell your racist. So that's a good thing for letting everyone know your not a good person. Maybe if you went to one of the churches or sat down with one of the bikers at the bar you could learn a thing or two. While Sheridan does have some problems just like everywhere on Earth. Majority of what you have said is false. Yes, housing is expensive. You did get that right. It is expensive because of all the people moving in. There is a housing shortage. Which means Sheridan is GROWING not DYING. Maybe if you went to one of the schools in Sheridan you would learn about things like this. So please, I beg you, leave Sheridan. We don't need a racist here that is just going to spread hate.

This person SERIOUSLY has an attitude! If you don't like it here, LEAVE...trust me, no one's stopping you! We love our community and yes, it has issues but so does everywhere else in this country...go bellyache about them! Sure they'd love to have you. This person has no clue what our community is about. It sounds like they tried to find help and were turned down for whatever reason, so now they're bitter and harsh and just a plain !@#. The Kahns are amazing people and contribute to the community greatly! This person has obviously never been told of the good they do here....the donations and funds they've set up and assistance they've given. Sounds like the person above seriously is racist and just a bitter, unhappy person. As for the bikes, heck yeah they come through every summer. We have bike runs all around the state to raise money for various events and assistance. I'd LOVE to see this person go up to a biker and voice his opinion...pay per view for sure LOL. Yes, the housing situation is ridiculous and, unfortunately, getting worse....but it's doing the same all over the country. As for masks and social distancing...the mandates are now finished entirely and I honestly don't think there's one store in town that's enforcing it anymore...not if they don't want to be boycotted and no one around here can afford that. As for the people, yes we're "cowboys" we live in the "Cowboy state" after all ;) but seriously, we are the West, have been voted "Best of the West" multiple times, and we know how we want to live...nothing wrong with that. Yes, we have trucks...live out here in the winter without them and you'll see why lol. And most of the "loud" ones are kids just enjoying being kids. The writer of the above comment has a very twisted sense of this community for supposedly having lived here for so long. People here, for the most part are kind, generous, and helpful...if you don't act like an !@#. We have a group here called Sheridan Neighbors Helping Neighbors...who assist with everything under the sun for free...Neighborly love, see...he obviously has never experienced the REAL Sheridan. As for the churches, again, the commenter hasn't a clue. We have some amazing churches here...of all denominations for whatever Faith you desire. We have a couple of nondenominational churches that are wonderful, comfortable, and so welcoming :) we have 3 different school systems in Sheridan County, you can take your pick of super small (districts 2 and 3) or the Sheridan city school system (district 1) depending on where you choose to live in Sheridan County. Go in any direction and you'll find some sort of recreational activity...fishing, hiking, boating, mountain activities, biking, ATV....you name it, it's here. We have 3 dog parks for your pups to exercise and enjoy each other's company. We have half a dozen parks, a public pool, soccer fields, baseball fields, the YMCA, the Centennial Theater, and the world-famous Wyo Theater. Trust me, there's PLENTY to do here. Don't just take the word of a bitter, hard hearted person who seriously needs a hug.....experience it yourself.
