What you say is inaccurate. The economy here is based of tourists and wouldn't be anything without them, however I agree with you that many people could act more mature. I will agree we have a big drug issue although what you say about drug related murders is false. The only murders to my knowledge were in 2014 and 2018 (not the at least one per year you claim, I don't know if either of these are I couldn't find any information). In the 2014 incidence a couple were killed while hitchhiking one being shot while the other was strangled. In the 2018 incidence a man broke into ski and bow rack while the owner Larry Fisher was working at 9:30 pm and shot him where he would die at 4:29 am. You are correct about services being delayed and sometimes awful jobs. If you're talking about expensive living Colorado is not the right place for you being ranked #7 for most expensive place to live, however Pagosa is cheaper than the average place in Colorado the only major exception being healthcare where it makes up in transportation and housing.
