Terrible, Horrible, Sad excuse of a small city...

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!! If you are thinking about moving here don’t!! All the reviews about the city being boring, people are super rude and unfriendly, crime is so high. If you have liberal views or vote democratic people here will hate you. It’s sad because Indianapolis has some rich history and has the potential to be better but it will never happen. I hate that I let my husband talk me into moving back here. I want to move far far away from here the cost of living being low is not enough reason to stay. Besides the cost the living here is on the rise. I’m from northern Indiana and up there is so much better then here. I lived only an hour away from Chicago it was nice.

Bro, you didn’t just say that Indianapolis hates liberal views. Yes Indiana does, but not Indianapolis! It’s just as liberal as my home metro of Chicago! Maybe not in the metro, but inner city, over 65% are liberal. I’m a conservative but have no issues with democratic people until you push it on me. Also, if you’re from Gary, Hammond, or Indiana parts of Chicago metro, then you must be tripping. NW Indiana is abandoned, poor, and crime ridden.

It doesn't help, Inebriated. Nobody cares about how old or liberal you are. Try to stay on subject. I grew up in northern Indiana. I used to think it was a real dump. These days, Indianapolis is worse than Gary. That's a fact. In the race to the bottom, you're winning. Northern Indiana isn't getting much better, but Indianapolis is circling the drain.

Indy is a nice City and anyone who is saying it's boring are most likely boring people. It's plenty to do here year round. I've been here 7 years. I work as a Nurse and the Salary is much higher than most Cities & States. For a City with a metro population of nearly 2 million...you still get a small city vibe here. I think most cities are what you make of it. A lot depends on what you like and I would never continue to live somewhere that I don't like only to constantly complain. Go to Vegas or where ever you feel may work for you. There's flights going out 24/7...catch the next one out

Indy is not a small city. It's the 12 or 13th largest in the USA with a population of approximately 2 million and a huge land mass + still growing
