SNOW
Does it snow much? Are the streets easy/safe to navigate during snow? Are main streets lit or no street lights?

How humid does it get in summer?

How buggy as far as Mosquitos, Horse flies?

No, it shows very little now, twice last year and neither time it enough to shovel or plow. Main streets have street lights, mine does not ... the stars are awesome! Average humidity in the summer is in the single digits. We use humidifiers to stay healthy. No bugs to speak of. We have a month period for about 3 weeks and mosquitos if people don't empty outdoor containers during the August rains.

There is about 18 inches of snow and 21 inches of rain per year. The snow last year, which was just in December and Jan was on the roads for maybe 3 days each time but they kept the roads clear. I have a Chevy Impala sedan and had no problems. All the main streets have street lights and are lighted well. There is about 285 says of sunshine here and it gets cold (nights are maybe 25-35 degrees average from November to March.) days are sunny and not too cold about 55 degrees with humidity about 25-35% in the winter. It’s hot in the summer months June to Sept with the temps at average of 89 degrees I would say. The humidity goes up in the summer but only to maybe 45-55% during the rain season. No biting flies or mosquitoes here normally in the city, too dry for them I think. Not like Texas, Florida or the East coast because the city is at 5000 feet in altitude. About 10-15 degrees cooler here than Phoenix area. Nice place to live a quiet life but hardly no jobs here to speak of. It’s a 65-80 mile drive to the Phoenix valley area, which takes about 65-85 minutes. If you ever want to look at graphs of weather then to go www.weatherspark.com it has all that in graphical form.

Why did you give a zero rating for a few questions? Answers (six years later): We see snow a couple of times in the winter, rarely remains overnight. It is a 'high desert' with not much humidity. These are things you can check/prove on a weather site and some on this site. The main streets are lit. Very low lights in neighborhoods so you can see stars. The bugs are subjective, they come and go, not near as bad as back east, but more than Phoenix. I prefer a few bugs to the heat of Phoenix.
