Memphis may be a great place to live for those with relatives who were born and raised here, but by and large the place suffers extreme xenophobia and worse yet seems proud of the fact. While there certainly ARE SOME good people here, most of this Bible Belt nostalgia you hear about is pure hypocrisy. More like Peyton Place! But if you're into rabid tea party types, you might like it just fine.
