Review of Boone, North Carolina

How "Green" is Boone?
Star Rating - 6/11/2010
I found ASU by digging around trying to find schools that teach green energy, solar, wind, etc. So my question is, how "green" is life in Boone? I live in Townsend, TN and if I even try to talk environment people blank out. NC is part of the movement putting windpower at schools so I'm impressed. However, I want to make sure wherever I move has enough diversity, most importantly people interested and involved in the alternative energy movement. Comments and info greatly appreciated!
