You're right about your governor, excellent handling of an otherwise very bad situation. Albuquerque and NM as a whole are not wealthy. If your governor had not asserted immediate authority over the situation, it could have been a complete disaster.

The governor's handling of the pseudo-pandemic has not been excellent. Like too many others, she has embraced damages policies, turning everything upside down for a virus with a near 99% survival rate. What is so special about Covid-19 that it has justified all the extreme measures which have been put into place? By now we should all recognize the answer is: nothing. New Mexico has many pluses, but its ever bluer political slant is not one of them.
