Review of Spring Lake, New Jersey

Nice enough
Star Rating - 2/6/2011
While Spring Lake is nice enough, it lacks the warmth of it's neighboring town Belmar. Both towns have a mix of multiple generations and make for historic family lines but Belmar is just cozier, not as competitive as Spring Lake and other seashore towns in this area. People are nice regardless of which political side one is on. Buy in Belmar-for half the price and twice the comfort of good neighbors and leadership. I do think the town is thriving in large part because many new home buyers have moved in, gotten involved and demanded accountability from the mayor and council. I would choose Belmar over any upscale home in Spring Lake most respectfully.
