NE Tacoma -- It's a secret.

NE Tacoma (Browns Point) is well known by the people who live here, but not really known to outsiders. We are behind Federal Way (King County), north of Tacoma proper and by the water. It's a community by the sound where single family homes range from 450,000 to a million plus. We are a bridge (7 minute drive) across the Tacoma water front with lots of great restaurants and entertainment and 25 minutes from downtown Seattle. Since we are by the water we have many marinas to choose from and the restaurants along the sound all have easy docking access for a nice bite to eat. Properties by the golf course which start in the 550,000+ are for the most part 3,000+ Sq. ft. homes with great views, as compared to the same builder on the east side ranging in the 750,000 - 800,000 range with no views and a considerably smaller lot. Since we are in Peirce County we are not taxed as high compared to single dwellers in King County who live across the street. I am glad I found this area and I hope I can invest more before the secret gets out.
