Review of Longmont, Colorado

retiring to CO
Star Rating - 1/10/2010
My husband and I love CO and have traveled to most parts of the state. We are looking to retire to CO in the next few years, and would appreciate any feedback about the towns of Longmont, Loveland, and Castle Rock. Specifically, is one town better than another for very active, liberal-minded retirees.

Hi Mary, It has been several years since this posting, and I'm wondering whether you moved to Longmont. If so, how is it? Thoughts? Impressions? If you decided against Longmont, where did you go instead, and how is it there? I ask because my husband and I are also considering Longmont, and we currently live in Grayslake, IL, so our experience would be similar to yours, since you also left Illinois. Would love to see an update from you on your retirement destination. Thanks, Zip W.
