The average rent here for a 2 bedroom apartment is $500 to $600. To rent a house you will pay $700 to $1500. You cannot buy a house for under $150,000 unless its a real dump. An acre of land is going to run you $100,000. Its terrible. I have lived here for 35 years and I have never seen it so bad.
