I feel your pain from 11, almost 12, years ago. This place sucks. They have not yet invented mufflers here, and every lowlife has acquired a 200 decibel radio these days, so try not to live near a road, folks. This is not the place for writers, programmers, web developers, or anyone else who uses their brain. I grew up living near NC 97 and later US 301, so I'm accustomed to traffic noise, but it's impossible to bear in 2020. That's of course in addition to all of the more serious problems you mention. This used to be "The City on the Rise," but now it's the city gone to heck. And they can get all the crooked city officials and all the worthless police to come here and click on the disagree button, but it's still true, and they don't even care about making this community a place worth living in.
