Review of Stillwater, Minnesota

Stillwater, MN
Star Rating - 6/25/2009
Statistical information is interesting. Having been born in Stillwater in the 50's and mostly raised here, I find the growing population less desirable. Stillwater used to have a viable downtown shopping area and now it is simply a destination for tourist with little desire or reason for hometown people to go downtown. We have a beautiful riverfront town but it is congested with cars running through the main street on their way back to the State of WI, leaving our downtown filled with car exhaust. We have one of the most beautiful libraries in the state.
