Corning the olive capital of the world. One of the biggest trucker destinations on the West Coast.
Yet Chico & Red Bluff our two neighbors, have much better standard of living. It is a fine small town which struggles, and the recent opening of a local casino has sucked up a large amount of the local economy.
Recently there are signs of a move towards prosperity, but is it to little to late only time will tell.
