I was somewhat amused to olred's view of Elma, WA. We just moved here a few months ago from NV and have enjoyed it. I'm not sure after NV whether I will like 70 inches of rain a year, but the summer has been awfully dry. Like anywhere, I think crime and quality of life depends on the neighborhood. Our neighbors are all older, and I couldn't have touched a house like mine in Las Vegas for the price I paid here. As far as the drug abuse, I guess if you want them you can get them, but what do I care? If you're worried about your kids, I'm sure they can get them if they want them where ever you go.
