Great place to raise kids

Glendora is a slice of small town America in the L.A. area, a lovely suburban refuge, especially in the northern section of town. My wife and I moved there in the late 80s for the great school district and raised our daughter in the public schools from K through high school. Very community-oriented town with a lot of civic pride. As elsewhere in So Cal, it is a premium area as far as homes are concerned. Air quality, which got a deservedly bad rap in the 70s and 80s, has improved dramatically. All in all, a great place to live, especially for families.
