I lived in the Owings Mills community for 30 years (2010-1980) and this area is infested with gangs,drugs,shootings,and section 8 housing. Ever since they built the Owings Mills metro people from the city travel to Owings Mills and disperse out. This area is getting to be like Randallstown and Woodlawn. I am giving it 3-5 years from now 2010 that this area is going to be like West Baltimore City "part 2"..This area is become more "ghetto" everyday and full of illegal immigrants. I certainly would not recommend this area to anyone. I'm glad that I have moved out of Owings Mills and don't plan ever moving back there. Good luck to the people that are currently living there and the ones who are contemplating living there...You're gonna need it.
