Review of Severance, Colorado

Loving the small town life
Star Rating - 7/9/2009
We moved here two years ago from Southern California and really love it. Although Severance is really small compared to where we were before, the neighbors are friendly and we like our little neighborhood of Timber Ridge. The weather is nice (most of the time), and we can see the beautiful Rockies to the East. In the fall and spring the geese stop over on their migrations and the sky scape is fabulous. Although Severance lacks many amenities that larger towns may have, they are readily accessible either in Windsor, Fort Collins or Loveland and Greeley. In addition, Severance is kind of like a bedroom community to the surrounding areas (i.e. people live here and work there). I love the fact that I can see cornfields and hay fields daily, and that I no longer sit in traffic when I need to drive somewhere. I say "Two thumbs up for Severance".
