I totally agree. There are some who think it is a “given right” to be able to afford to live where they work and chastise the high cost of housing alleging prices should be low enough for them to afford. The issue is that this is a nationally recognized playground for winter and summer outdoor sports. The the free market prevails and prices reach what market demands. To those who are excluded: education, hard work and maybe even luck will help you afford the Park City lifestyle, but beyond that the free market dictates the current realistic price for the value received. No one can move to San Francisco, Palm Beach, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, or Park City just because they want to and feel they deserve it, but rather hard work and success should be their carrot on a stick and something to strive for. Nuff said.....
