I'm chuckling. Yes, we do have many bugs. You didn't mention where you relocated from, if it was the north, yes the bug size and population is very different. The weather was like heaven when I moved here 31 years ago from Maine. It has changed greatly. We have always had the high temps in the summer but not this never ending humidity and high dew points. We will be living the state in a year or two, we thought we would live out our lives here, never dreamed we would make another move after retiring. The weather is driving us out. If your an outdoor type of person as we are (farming) it is not enjoyable at all. And, yes, when meeting people for the first time many of them ask what church so you attend? I don't know if that is their way of asking you are you a Christian and if so what type of Christian are you? Maybe it is generations of church people being instilled to invite strangers to church. I don't know. I think it is rather rude, but I don't think they mean to be rude. The planning of Greenville's infrastructure has been something to be desired. The planning boards were only interested in how much tax many can we make right NOW and never governed the growth to match the roads. Greenville has grown so quickly in the past 20 years and continues to do so but driving and trying to get around in a reasonable amount of time is a nightmare. I will be happy to leave the state, but I will miss the friends I have made here.
