Swannanoa is a small rural community aoobut 15 miles from Asheville, NC in western North Carolina. The Asheville area provides an interesting mix of cultures, drawing from its Appalachian mountain roots and from the eclectic people who move here to enjoy the region's mountains and fresh water. Recreation activities include hiking, camping, mountain biking, canoeing and camping.
