I have lived here for 11 years,the quality of life is awesome, peaceful, quiet, very safe neighborhoods. Many areas the homes have an acre or more of property, so you have some privacy.. The neighbors are friendly. The local roads are one lane, little to no traffic but yet close to all the big box stores, major highways, malls, golf courses, tennis & great restaurants!! The Somerset County library is great,too..I see Moms taking out 10-15 books every time I am there to pick up a movie rental !! This town is mid way between NYC and Phila. for cultural events, etc. The one drawback is, as with many towns,..too much sprawl with more hotels, stores, and homes..etc. coming to town..Somerset County is ranked 3rd in the state for its overall quality of life & the 2 other counties 1st & 2nd,..are to the north and west of Somerset County.School systems are highly rated, too.
