Avoid the Motel 6

We checked in to this motel on our way home from a funeral. It was nearly 10:00 PM and we were all tired from a long day of travelling. Upon entering the room, we noticed that it was quite neglected. The carpet was stained, the comforter on one bed was so dirty it had to be turned inside out, the one on the other bed had cigarette burns in it. The bath tub was so dirty and black that you could see where someone had run their fingers across the bottom of it. VERY DISGUSTING!!!!! When we approached the manager, Maureen, she was extremely rude with an " I don't give a crap" attitude and basically threw a $10 bill across the counter at us. There was no apology for the condition of the room nor for the fact that we couldn't use the shower or bath tub. This was the worst motel we had ever stayed in.
